The alpines tables in the Plant Nursery are filling up nicely as Easter approaches. Lots of bright hardy little plants that just need a bit of drainage to keep them flowering all year long.

Spring bulbs looking good...

The spring bulbs are really coming into their own at the moment. Our lovely little daffodils, Rip Van Winkle with its star-like petals and Hawera with proud little flowers are startining to burst out. The Fritillarias (Meleagris and Uva vulpis), Erythroniums and Pompom Aliums (Sphaerocephalon) would loght up any woodland  border. Hyacinths, Tulipsm Crocus and Snowdrops just say 'Spring is here!'
